Penny Hutchinson has been Director of Arts Victoria since November 2000.  Prior to joining the Department she was a partner at BDO Nelson Parkhill and head of the firm’s consulting division.  She previously worked in the Victorian Department of Management and Budget and the National Companies and Securities Commission. Penny has served on several boards, including Medibank Private, the Federal Airports Corporation, the Victorian College of the Arts, Monash University, Melbourne Health, Tourism Board and Docklands Studios Melbourne.  Penny acted as Deputy Secretary, Sector Improvement Group in 2006 and as Deputy Secretary, Policy and Cabinet Group in 2009-2010.
